The Regional Museum in Pilzno, which was opened in October 2014 is a unit operating within the structures of The Community Centre of Pilzno. Activities of The Museum covers: storage, conservation and promoting of culture goods connected with Pilzno and surroundings. The Museum carries out various historical and cultural projects, conducts research and educational activities in the range of these disciplines. ,,Pilzno and surroundings over the centuries,, is a permanent exhibition of The Museum. This exhibition presents the history and culture of Pilzno and surroundings ( since the beginning and location of the city to 20th century). It includes excavation exhibits, copies of parchment documents (privileges and royal grants for the city and its inhabitants), plans, seals, photographs, numismatics, artefacts, crafts (created by old craftsmen’s guild and professions). ,,Pilzno in the paintings of Stanisław Westwalewicz,, is another exhibition, which includes oil paintings and watercolors (since 1951 to 1962) theme related with the city of Pilzno. The painter who lived and worked for over 10 years in Pilzno, he immortalized in his works landscapes, monuments and buildings of the city.
